PVP Guide
Hi, XlingoX here, in this post we’ll take a look at some basic things you can do to drastically improve you PVP abilities in World of Warcraft.
Note: This is some very basic PVP tips, if you are serious about mastering PVP, you should look into a more comprehensive PVP Guide.
Click here to see the PVP Guide that taught me to master every aspect of PVP!
To be a good PVP player you must master several things.
You must be an expert in knowing your opponents race and class.
You must master your own abilities.
You MUSTN’T be afraid to pick a fight with an enemy and you must be able to learn from your mistakes.
A good PVP player is feared among he’s or hers enemies and is not afraid to out when the sun is down.
You should always be vary of your surroundings. You never know when you need to be ready to defense or attack. Be aware of the terrain you’re currently in, are there anything you can use to your advantage?
Your mana/rage/energy and your hit point levels are crucial for your survival. If you get attacked while low on mana you are as good as dead.
If you are among allies your survival changes are greatly improved, but sometimes you are alone and sometimes you will die.
When you reach a certain level in world of Warcraft you need to spend some energy on getting the right gear. Often it’s the opponents gear that makes the difference. However, if you’re a skilled PVP player, PVP experience and knowledge can compensate for the lack of gear.
The experience is only available on the actual battlefield, the knowledge however, can be learned from studying a good PVP guide like the Ultimate PVP Bible!
Every class has its advantages and its disadvantages. Learn what yours are, both the good and bad.
Hunters are good at a far distance but sucks at close combat.
Warriors are the complete opposite.
Rouges are best when allowed to sneak up upon an enemy. They don’t like to be surprised.
Warriors are just tanks, full of DPS and rage. They suck at a distance however.
And so on…
There are also distinct racial abilities, like the night elf’s ability to Shadowmeld and the undead’s ability to counter Fear Effects.
Now, what is the ultimate PVP character? Rouge, Hunter, Warrior, Druid etc.?
This is a never-ending debate, but my personal belief is that it has nothing to do with the class or race. I managed to kill many rouges with my hunter, with the help of my ability to use traps and control my pet, but I’ve also Killed many high-level Hunters with my Level 60 rouge.
It’s a matter of experience + knowledge. Most of it you can get at the servers, but unless you play 24/7 for a few months you need a PVP Guide to teach you all the stuff that experience can’t give you.
I hope you did find some valuable information in this post.
See you on the servers,
